Lendingsquare.com (“Site”) is owned and operated by the Owner of Lending Square (“Lending Square”). This Policy applies to the information we collect from You when You complete our registration form for our funding-matching services, information collected when You use our Site(s), mobile applications, business funding products, related services, and any other form of interaction you have with Lending Square (collectively, the “Services”).   • Name, address, telephone, size, type, and various other aspects regarding your business.
  • Business Documents, which may include personal and business tax returns. Your documents are securely stored and safeguarded. At Your request and with Your permission, these documents may be shared with certain finance providers. We will not disclose, share, or transmit any of Your documents without Your permission.

Information from Third-Party Sites: In order to better assist matching Your business with fund providers or to fulfill Your requests for certain products and Services, we may collect other personal information from Third-Party Sites that You register under your account via their service. We may also collect information about You from credit bureaus, mailing list providers, publicly available sources, and other third parties. Lending Square itself does not run credit reports. The Site(s) may contain links to other websites that may be maintained by a third party. The third party is responsible for its own website(s) and we encourage you to review its own privacy policy and security practices, as we are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

Our Use and Disclosure of your Information

We may use information about You and/or provided by You for various reasons. For example, we may use this information to: deliver the Services/products You have requested, to respond to Your inquiries about our Services, to manage our relationship with You, to deliver targeted advertisements to You regarding our, or third party products and/or services that we believe You may be interested in, to research and analyze Your use of our products and Services, and to better understand the effectiveness of our advertising, content, and other activities. Further, we use the business and financial information You provide to attempt to match You to a suitable business funding provider. By submitting any information about You on our form(s), You give us Your permission to reach out to You via any method You have provided (i.e. a phone call or e-mail).

This Site, our affiliate(s), and/or third parties may also promote related product and service offerings to You via e-mail, SMS (text) message, by telephone, auto-dialer or pre-recorded messages. By providing any personal information on this Site, You provide Your permission to be contacted in any of the above ways. You understand that your Consent to receive communications is not required as a condition of using Lending Square’s services.

We may also disclose information about You and/or provided by You to third parties to respond to court orders or subpoenas; to investigate or take action regarding potential violations of our Terms of Use, illegal activities, or potential fraud; in an emergency to prevent a threat to the legal rights or safety of any person, the general public, or the security of our Sites or Services; to protect or defend Lending Square’s, or a third-party’s rights or property; and as otherwise required by law.

Information Security

The safety of your data is important to Lending Square. Thus, we employ reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from theft, unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and loss. Security measures include firewall barriers, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, and proprietary security and authentication measures. Additionally, we restrict access to personal information to Lending Square employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for Lending Square, and who are subject to confidentiality obligations and who may be disciplined/terminated if such obligations are not met. While we exercise reasonable care in securing Your information through transmission (i.e. from your computer to our servers) and through storage, we cannot guarantee complete security, as no information transmitted over the Internet can ever be 100% secure. Therefore, we do not warrant security of the information transmitted to us and we are not liable for unintentional disclosure.

In the unlikely event that a data breach were to occur, Lending Square will notify You within 35 business days of our knowledge of the data breach, and notify You of the nature and extent of the breach.

Updating your Personal Information

If You would like to update the personal information that has already been submitted to Lending Square, You may do so by contacting us at admin@lendingsquare.com with Your requested correction(s).

Email Communications and Short Message Service (SMS) Communications

When You sign-up for our Services, we ask You for an e-mail address and phone number. We may use this information to send You communications via email or SMS (text) message about promotions for Lending Square or third-party goods or services, service announcements, and administrative messages. You may opt-out of receiving such messages.

You may opt-out of receiving SMS from us at any time by emailing admin@lendingsquare.com with subject heading “UNSUBSCRIBE.” Upon receipt of Your “UNSUBSCRIBE” message, we will remove You from our mailing/contact list. Thereafter, You will no longer receive any further email or SMS messages from us.

Push Notifications

If you provide your consent, we may send push notifications to your web browser or mobile device. Push notifications may include marketing messages from us or from third-parties. You can alter your push notification settings at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device or browser.

Opting Out

By submitting your information on this Site, You are opting-in to receiving communication contact from the Site and/or a trusted financing provider within our network of financing providers.

If after signing up for our services You decide You no longer wish to receive telephone calls or text messages from us, You may choose to “Opt Out” or stop receiving these communications or sharing your personally identifiable information by unsubscribing. You may unsubscribe by emailing us at admin@lendingsquare.com. However, this does not guarantee that funding providers, or other third parties will no longer contact You or use Your information. To cease receiving communications from funding providers, or other third parties, please reach out to that particular funding provider, or third party. This Site is not responsible for stopping all unwanted contact from sources beyond our immediate control. This Site abides by CAN-SPAM and TCPA.

Please be aware that your participation in certain activities provided by our Site may be limited if personally identifiable information is not submitted for the user. E-mail addresses and phone numbers received in an opt-out request will be added to our company’s Do-Not-Contact registry within ten (10) days after receipt. Unless you “unsubscribe” or opt-out, this Site assumes you consent to receiving communications from it and its third-party vendors and affiliates. Because some federal and state regulations require a record of Your information for a set period of time, we may not be able to delete all of Your information from our database immediately.

California state law (California Civil Code section 1798.83) exists to provide consumers a way to contact companies they may believe are disclosing their personal information for marketing purposes. It allows the consumer to easily obtain information about disclosures.

As a California resident, You have the right to request information from us regarding the way in which we share specific categories of information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. You may request this from us free or charge, once yearly, regarding personal information we may have disclosed concerning You in the preceding calendar year.
